We arrived in Seattle!

Boy it sure was a long day, but after packing, shopping, multiple time outs, we made it! Here's the crew on the ride up. It took us only 2.5 hours to get up here on a Friday evening, so we feel really blessed.

I would love to write more, but I need to help the crew get to sleep. We have a big day planned tomorrow! We will be visiting The Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

Domo Arigato

Jadon had fun trying on Narumi's hat. He did not want to give it back or share.
This is a beautiful silk robe that Narumi brought for Jadon. I do not know when I would let him wear it without direct supervision. None the less, it is absolutely beautiful! Maybe he can wear it to Glen's wedding in the summer? (As long as he does not move! Or anything else that little boys do)



Narumi is rested, well fed and off to sleep again. We will head off for Seattle late in the afternoon. I am hoping to be able to blog on the road! Talk to everyone soon.

Narumi Arrived

Narumi arrived safe and sound early this morning. We met at the airport. She came home, ate some and played with Jadon for awhile (I guess he was showing off) and is now napping. More to come.....

A smile comes to my eyes when I hear Jadon say "Obey Jesus"
He knows that Jonah was in the whale (God's time-out) because Jonah did not obey.
He knows that Jesus went to the cross because He was obeying God.
He knows that Zacchaeus came out of the tree to obey Jesus.

Insight to pass onto the talents You have so graciously blessed me with,

As Time goes by

Jadon grows

At least two inches since Thanksgiving!
Pants that we have folded, now are at the perfect length.
Thankful for the foresight to buy the next size up.
He delights in entertaining others, his excitement increases with enthusiastic replies.
We are caught up in his excitement with frequent laughter.
He loves exploring new things.

Ian smiles

Filled with joy!
Lights up the room with his smiles and coos.
We can't help but delight and enjoy the view.
Continues to grow and tracks Jadon as he moves.

Deanna's working

I am back to work at a third of the time I was before!
Working on two lectures I was asked to give.
Looking forward to a visit from Narumi.
Grateful for the help of a nanny.

Will is caught up

Paperwork from work that piled because of a broken foot and the arrival of Ian is done.
Healing comes slowly.
Too slowly for the desired run.
