I am busier than anticipated and apologize for not being able to keep the blog up to date very well. We've had a couple of hot days lately and here are the boys keeping themselves cool through it all.

Some of my favorite things
Watching Ian pick up his potty chair insert to dump it in the big toilet. (Now if I can figure out how to get him to leave it back in place after he has emptied it once).
Waiting for Ian as he goes downstairs to pick out his favorite night time book, "Quiet, there's a Canary in the Library" by Don Freeman, bring it upstairs and hand it to me on the rocking chair. Climb in my lap and say "book".

Things that make me smile
Watching Jadon's drawings evolve from scribbled lines to shapes and designs with different colors. In awe of the One who created us.

Family Day
After our busy errand day yesterday..... The boys did really well keeping their cool and maintaining pace with mom. We spent the morning today doing fun stuff! We enjoyed a morning at Gabriel Park. It has trails, skate park, jungle gyms and playgrounds, a dog run area. So there are a lot of things to see and do here, definitely enough to keep a 3 yo & 18 mos old occupied for 3 to 4 hours. And then deliver them hungry and ready for their naps. (a bonus for mom and dad). We also visited the velodrome, which was full of cyclists practicing and nearby is a quarter midget race track for the kiddos. Too many fun and exciting things to see and do. If mom and dad didn't have to get dinner ready and attempt maintaining the house and laundry, we would of joined our little ones in their siesta!
I thought mixing meat for meat balls would be a lot of fun for the boys. Allowed to put their hands in food and get all dirty. Well, didn't go over too exciting. Both thought it was pretty "uckie" and would not put their hands in it. Let's see if they eat it now.....
