Haircut Day

I had been cutting Jadon's hair for awhile, but I attempted to even Ian's out too while we were at it. He got his first haircut today which didn't turn out too bad. Tomorrow the three of us have a busy day planned with grocery shopping (a big treat for Jadon because he gets to push the cart and starting to become exciting for Ian too as he has taken an interest in pushing the kid cart at Trader Joe's), a huge consignment sale for clothes and shoes for boys. Will is going to enjoy his day by attending a men's bible study and then we will all finish the day with church! We will all probably be pretty anxious to see our beds at the end, but life doesn't get better than this! A full Saturday means that on Sunday we get to hang out and be a family! Jadon is 3!

If you asked Jadon how old he is, he will tell you 4. This year he started telling people that he was one, then jumped to five, and now he is down to four. It is just as he counts now too, "one, two, threefour, five". Isn't he handsome?

Just like his daddy. Full of excite ment & energy with hilarious one

liners. We all have fun with him! He wanted an upside down chocolate birthday cake with orange frosting. We asked Jadon what this card said, he replied "Happy Birthday Jadon!" LOL!

Ian didn't mind it either. He is probably taking notes and will have an even greater request of me in 5 months!

Jadon's eating of cake has not changed much since he turned one. Shove as much in as possible, then chew and swallow!



It was a joy having the grandparents joining us via Skype for evening!

A dry day for Ian

Ian's first day in the same underpants from start to finish! Except
his nap, which involved wrestling him to put on his diapers - not a
happy camper. Praying for a repeat performance.

Some of my favorite things

Watching Ian move the box back into position so he can climb over the
footboard of our bed. The box I just took away so he couldn't climb
over it!

Watching Jadon jump the dance steps of Jonah a Veggie Tales Movie.
Will states that we should get him involved in acting or drama, my
reply "he just likes to jump, and what else can vegetables with no
arms do?"

Watching Ian put clothes in the dirty hamper on his way to his bath! He's so excited and loves doing what big brother does.
